Career Highlights
  • Ross is entering her seventh season in pro beach volleyball.
  • In the first year of the BVA Tour, she had her best result at Long Beach, where she finished ninth with Dianne DeNecochea.
  • Ross competed on the Pro Beach Four-Person Tour for five years.
  • In 1994, 1996, and 1997, she was the setter for the Pro Beach Four-Person League Championship team.
  • In 1996, she was named the tour's Best Defensive Player and the Best Setter.

College

  • Ross played her collegiate volleyball at the University of Texas at Austin (three years) and USC (one year).
  • She was a member of the 1988 Texas team that won the NCAA National Championship.
  • In 1989 at Texas, she was named the Southwest Conference Player of the Year, as well as AVCA All-American and NCAA South Region All-American.
  • In 1990 and 1991, she was named first team All-Southwest Conference.
  • She was captain of the Texas team in 1990 and 1991.
  • In 1990, she was named team MVP.

Personal

  • Ross graduated from Texas in 1992 with a B.A. in Psychology.
  • She is currently the assistant coach at Grossmont College and at the San Diego Volleyball Club.
  • In September 1998, Ross, formerly Kurt, married Duncan Ross.
