Zuffelato is entering her first season on the pro beach circuit. She played her first beach volleyball tournament in May 1998, and won a AA tourney in September 1998 to earn her AAA rating. She suffered a knee injury in 1999, but has recovered and is ready for the 2000 season. She played her collegiate volleyball for two years at Fresno City College, and then transferred and played her final two years at Fresno Pacific. She earned NAIA All-American honors in 1992 and was Player of the Year GSAC in 1992. Zuffelato is married to Greg Zuffelato. She is a science teacher and her husband is an assitant Men's basketball coach at Cal Poly University.
